yesterday was a cutting day

Yesterday I cut out 4 shirts, one for an order, the rest for my boys and myself, and a pair of green jeans for my 7-year-old. I am going to do a t-shirt neckline tutorial and a jeans waistband tutorial as I sew these up.

Hi there - the zebra is an iron on transfer on the shirt. I have done a few and have found that they actually wash quite well! Just make sure you read the laundering instructions - some want air dry and some are ok with tumble drying. The other option is the sew in printable fabrics - easier than an applique (to me anyway!) Thanks for the nice comments on my blog!

I think I will try this out. I used iron-on transfer paper for the first time for my morsbags last week. I've had the paper since my 7 yo was a baby.... This could be fun for my etsy shop :)
